Changing and registering your car’s number plates to Spanish ones
This process is to change and register the number/licence plates on your vehicle. This is not the process if you’re bringing a non-European car into Spain. To do that, known as matriculation, you will need to contact us for a quote.
What will we do for you?
- Arrange an appointment for you with the DGT
- If necessary, we will arrange an ITV appointment for you
- Support you with all the relevant documentation
- Support you to pay the correct fees, both to the Town Hall (Ayuntamiento) and the tax office
€75 (does not include aforementioned fees)
50% deposit is required for services and the balance is payable upon completion. Third-party payments are required as they are incurred.
